Background:
According to the material sources, producing butadiene product includes process of oxidative dehydrogenation of 1-butene and butadiene extraction from C4. For process of oxidative dehydrogenation of 1-butane, especially, it was hard to design and optimize for containing many units, including acetonitrile unit, oxidative dehydrogenation unit, Etherification unit and butadiene extraction unit.
Solution:
ZEHUA had successfully designed 5 projects of producing butadiene product which adopted process of oxidative dehydrogenation of 1-butene or butadiene extraction from C4, including almost 100 towers, based on owned technical advantages.
(1) Process optimization, heat integration, etc;
(2) Optimizing column ID and number of trays;
(3) Heat exchaners design based on optimum operation condition;
(4) Design and Fabrication of column internals adopting ADV? combinatorial valve tray .
Result:
These projects were successful in commissioning test run. Devices were easily and stably operated. Technical parameters and product properties could meet or be superior to requirements. It showed that ADV? combinatorial valve trays had high mass-transfer efficiency and also could adapt fouling and coking system, meanwhile that ZEHUA had already owned the core technology in butadiene extraction process.
